Defected’s flagship festival in Malta returns for its fifth year this October, bringing 100% pure house to over 5000 global fans in the heart of the Mediterranean.
Making their hotly anticipated debut for the fifth edition are celebrated selectors Hot Since 82, Syreeta, Chez Damier, Sidney Charles and Jayda G.
Returning after a festival-defining set at The Ditch is the legendary Green Velvet, with other returning favourites including Lil’ Louis, Dennis Ferrer, Todd Terry, Kevin Saunderson, Eliza Rose, Dan Shake and Kirollus alongside label staples like Sam Divine, Eats Everything, Low Steppa, Oden & Fatzo, Shermanology, Sandy Rivera, Harry Romero and The Ritual with Anané & Louie Vega.
Defected sister label Glitterbox is also represented in full, with the nightlife phenomenon presenting disco sets from SKREAM and HoneyLuv, as well as label favourites like Catz ‘N Dogz, Melvo Baptiste, MiNNA, Aline Rocha and David Morales. Expect the Glitterbox family of dancers and performers, combined with its world class, larger-than-life production to delight and dazzle in equal measure.
With the stellar line-up of over 50 artists now announced, fans can sign up for pre-sale tickets landing on Tuesday 10th February.
Festival-goers can prepare for a host of fresh stage takeovers and boat parties from Defected’s all-encompassing family of labels and collaborators, including Glitterbox, Faith and many more to be announced. As well as the three-room hub of UNO and the poolside vibes of Café Del Mar, UNESCO world heritage sites The Ditch and Fort St. Elmo will also return, with more news to come in the lead up to October…
With the weekend experience now entering its fifth year, the relationship between the London label, its Malta partners and its dedicated fanbase across the globe are stronger than ever.
Defected Malta 2026 will begin with a pre-party on Thursday 01 October and continue until the early hours of Monday 05 October.
The next wave of festival tickets will be available on Tuesday 10th February.
