On Sunday 5th May, Hï Ibiza re-opened its doors to one of the island’s most celebrated house and disco brands – Glitterbox.
A legion of house, disco, funk and soul fans flocked to the world’s #1 club in Ibiza for a powerhouse line-up that included Groove Armada, Mousse T., Derrick Carter, Horse Meat Disco, Yasmin, Natasha Diggs, Melvo Baptiste, Dames Brown, DJ Fat Tony and Melon Bomb spanning the venue’s array of extravagant rooms and stages.
But Sunday’s line-up is just the start for the acclaimed residency, which will later host A-list music icons including Armand Van Helden, Todd Terry, Louie Vega, Norman Jay MBE and the legendary Chaka Khan over the course 23-week season.
The nights will also host underground legends and genre experts Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy, Dan Shake, Ben Westbeech, Natasha Diggs, Jayda G, Floorplan, Eli Escobar, Mr. Scruff and Busy P. For the full line-up breakdown each week, including how to buy tickets, visit the official Hï Ibiza website.
Sunday also marked a reveal of our bold new look for the residency, led by long-time collaborator and artist Haris Nukem, with a jagged, electric Glitterbox font and a huge, statueesque version of our already iconic lime green boombox setting a retro-kaleidoscopic scene built for the nightlife.
