After our nine week virtual residency with Defected went down a storm, we've levelled up our virtual offering in partnership with Twitch for our WWWorldwide series. Launching last week with Louie Vega, The Martinez Brothers, Darius Syrossian, Simon Dunmore, Mark Farina, Eli Escobar and Luke Solomon, we return this Friday for a special Glitterbox x Pride stream. WWWorldwide utilises Twitch's Squad Stream function to create a virtual nightclub, with three rooms to choose from and explore like you would on a night out.
This Friday from 6-11pm will see a celebration of Pride programmed in collaboration with renowned New York nightclub House Of Yes and Brighton Pride. With shows scheduled at both locations this summer, this special stream aims to create the club feeling many of us will be missing for the foreseeable.
Glitterbox will host the main room with The Shapeshifters w/ Billy Porter, Horse Meat Disco, Late Nite Tuff Guy and Breakbot b2b Irfane. Room 2, hosted by House Of Yes, will see sets from Jellybean Benitez, Kiddy Smile, Natasha Diggs and Melvo Baptise, and Brighton Pride's Room 3 hosts Fat Tony, Jodie Harsh, HiFi Sean, Joshua James and Sippin' T.
No Glitterbox night would be complete without our incredible performers, as we welcome all your favourite club kids and dancers to perform alongside the lineup, as well as dancers from House of Ghetto and House of Yes.
We will also be raising money for the Marsha P Johnson Institute and Brighton Rainbow Fund throughout the stream.
With club closures ongoing around the world we wanted to achieve something as close to a real clubbing experience, allowing you to dip in and out of different rooms at leisure, like choosing a stage at a festival. As with previous Glitterbox Virtual Festivals sets will be uploaded to watch back on YouTube in full HD directly after.
