Our boat party offering is back for another unforgettable edition of our Mediterranean weekend festival, with a total of five boats departing across three days of the festival, alongside our brand-new floating venue, The Island.

A fresh addition to this year’s festival, The Island is a floating pontoon in the Mediterranean with room for just 350 house fans. Taking over on Friday 2nd October, Fat Tony brings his Full Fat brand to the water from 13:00-18:00, uniting 350 guests for five hours of house and disco classics in a truly unique setting.
The Island pontoon tickets will go on sale exclusively to Defected Malta festival pass holders on Monday 7th September at 12PM BST, with tickets for all other boat parties going on sale on Tuesday 8th September at 12PM BST.
Now is your last chance to buy Defected Malta tickets before the boats go on sale! With over 95% of full festival tickets already sold and less than 200 passes remaining, demand is extremely high, so expect boat spaces to sell out quickly. Only ticket holders will receive the email link to purchase boat tickets.
For group tickets, only the lead booker will receive the email for boat tickets so please plan accordingly.
Boat parties are often cited by our fans as one of the highlights of the festival season, with ticket holders sharing an intimate vibe with our world-class international DJs, accompanied by breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and unmissable feel-good vibes.
Kicking things off on Thursday 1st October is a double-header, with a Defected boat from 12:00-15:00 featuring Shermanology and Harry Romero, followed by a Faith takeover from 15:30-18:30 with Dave Jarvis, Stuart Patterson and Terry Farley.
Friday then sees Glitterbox take to the water from 15:00-18:00, with Aline Rocha and Sandy Rivera bringing the feel-good house and disco sounds of the iconic label. Also joining the Friday festivities is The Island, with Fat Tony bringing his Full Fat brand to the Mediterranean for five hours of house and disco classics.
Saturday brings another Defected boat from 12:00-15:00, featuring Darius Syrossian, Ferreck Dawn and Kellie Allen, before Soulfuric celebrates 30 years of the iconic house label from 15:30-18:30 with Brian Tappert, Chesster and Low Steppa.

Tickets for The Island pontoon experience will go on sale exclusively to Defected Malta festival pass holders at 12PM BST on Monday 7th September. Tickets for all other boat parties will go on sale at 12PM BST on Tuesday 8th September. Boat party and The Island tickets are sold separately and are only available to Defected Malta festival pass holders.
The fifth edition of Defected Malta will take place from Thursday 1st October until the early hours of Monday 5th October 2026, bringing 50+ artists across some of Malta’s most iconic locations, including the brand-new Beach Stage (included in your festival ticket).
