Joining Defected’s ever-expanding repertoire of events and festivals, which this year include our longest-ever 23-week Ibiza season, the award-winning Defected Croatia in Tisno and stages at events across the UK, Europe and beyond, we’re expanding into even more territories. 

Defected Malta will consist of a long weekend of day and night parties, kicking off on Friday 7^th October with a full schedule of club shows, boat parties and events at unique off-the-grid locations. Every day music will run from 12pm straight through to 4am, with Defected’s renowned musical programming showcasing the very best of the label group. With stages curated by Defected, Glitterbox, Classic Music Company, Sondela and Faith, party goers can expect household headline acts alongside the rising stars of the scene and underground names on the line-up, to be announced soon.

Tickets are now on sale, starting from £139. Payment plans for Defected Malta 2022 will be available, where you can spread the cost of your ticket over three monthly instalments with just a £20 deposit. To find out more head here.

LOCATION

Soaked in the sun for 300 days of the year, the idyllic location of our latest festival offering is a tailor-made setting for Defected’s unique brand of house party. Continuing to make clubbing abroad accessible for all generations of dance fans, those looking to chase the sun for one final summertime event can look no further than Defected Malta, with stretches of white sandy beaches and the crystalline Mediterranean waters making a stunning backdrop to the festival. Venues will include daytime venue, the lux beach club Café del Mar, and nightimes parties at the colossal, multi-room venue UNO as well striking, unexpected pop-up parties that make the most of the location’s stunning surroundings. 

TRAVEL & ACCOMODATION

ABOUT DEFECTED EVENTS

Since launching our award-winning Defected Croatia festival in 2016, we’ve been eager to push the boundaries of festival curation and production. With the 2021 edition of the event at The Garden Tisno marking a triumphant return to the live events space, this year is set to be the busiest yet for the team here at Defected. Embarking on tours of four continents throughout the year, expanding to major new territories such as Brazil, and returning to Ibiza for the first time since 2019 for our longest season on record, Defected Malta is another exciting addition Defected’s ever diversifying portfolio of events.
