Calling all our Glitterbox dancers and dancefloor dynamos, have you ever dreamt of strutting your stuff alongside Lucy Fizz, The MxFit, Tete Bang, Harvey Rose and the rest of our crew, soundtracked by world-class DJs in front of a vast Glitterbox audience, uplifting the spirits of our global community…? We’re here to make this your reality, with a competition offering one lucky winner a slot to Dance For The World in our upcoming Glitterbox Virtual Festival on Friday 15th May. Our fortnightly Glitterbox Virtual Festivals are crafting moments of pure joy, inspiring millions to party hard in the safety of their own homes.
It’s time to show us what you’ve got, freestyling your best moves for the virtual disco dancefloor – let your living room become your stage. It’s a chance to be a part of a global virtual movement, uniting the world with the universal power of disco. The winner will be dancing alongside DJs who have previously included Bob Sinclar, Todd Terry and Purple Disco Machine. Throw on your dancing shoes and your fiercest club-ready outfit, now is your time to shine!
How to enter:
- The competition opens on Wednesday 29th April and closes at 12am BST on Tuesday 5th May
- Upload a 10-minute audition video of yourself freestyle dancing and upload it as an unlisted video to YouTube
- Send a link to your YouTube video to virtual@defected.com
- Entrants must be aged 16 or over
Five dancers will be shortlisted by a team of judges based on their dance ability, energy and individual flare. The winner will then be chosen by our online Glitterbox community to appear 4x in the next Glitterbox Virtual Festival.
